These terms set the basic rules for using Describe This. By accessing or playing the game, you agree to follow them.
Who may use the service
Describe This is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. You must be legally able to accept these terms, and you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by the law where you live.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for personal, lawful game play. You must not:
- Submit unlawful, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, deceptive, or privacy-invasive content.
- Impersonate another person or expose private or confidential information.
- Probe, overload, bypass, disrupt, scrape, automate, or reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it.
- Manipulate scores, traffic, analytics, ad impressions, or ad clicks. Never click an advertisement merely to support the site.
- Use the service in a way that violates a provider's terms or another person's rights.
Your content
You keep any rights you have in room names, guesses, and custom judging rules you submit. You give the operator a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the game, including AI judging. You are responsible for having the right to submit it.
AI output and scores
Images, prompts, judging explanations, and scores may be generated or evaluated by automated systems. They can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected. The game is for entertainment, and its outputs should not be used for legal, medical, financial, employment, educational, or other high-impact decisions.
Advertising and third-party services
The public site may display advertisements supplied by Google AdSense. An advertisement is not an endorsement. Third-party services, links, and content are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Availability and enforcement
The service may change, pause, lose game data, or become unavailable without notice. Access may be limited or terminated to protect players, providers, infrastructure, or legal compliance. No promise is made that every game will finish or every guess will be graded.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. If a jurisdiction does not allow a limitation above, it applies only to the maximum extent allowed there.
Changes and contact
